At Wandsworth Prep, we have strong community values within the school, making each staff member, parent and pupil feel a part of WPS wholly. We do this by hosting regular showcases where parents are invited to visit the school and see their children’s work, such as our Poetry Cafe or Time Travellers series.
We also host many other social events throughout the year for both current parents, joining parents and anyone interested in being a member of the WPS community including coffee mornings, cake sales, Halloween parties and charity fun runs.
We also aim to actively participate in the broader community in Wandsworth and surrounding areas. We build on our relationships with local schools, businesses and charities, where our pupils positively impact the community through activities such as taking food to our local Food Bank or raising money through various activities like carol singing for charities of their choice.
The money we raise is used to support WPS to further enhance the environment for children to learn as well to allow us to donate money to our charities of the year – Wandsworth Food Bank, Mind and Sport in Mind.
