Wandsworth Prep’s dedicated teachers encourage children to participate in an ‘active’ type of learning through purposeful play in all areas of the Foundation Stage Curriculum. We develop learning based on each child’s needs and interests, allowing them to celebrate their achievements.
Children can join our school when they turn 3 and join our Pre Prep class, moving into reception in the September when they are 4.
Reception children attend Forest School every Friday morning, where they can integrate the Early Learning goals into outdoor curriculum activities.
We ensure continuity for our pupils with structured transitional activities to ensure each child is academically and emotionally prepared for Prep. In the Foundation Stage, our aim is that children will develop a strong sense of self, feel optimistic about their abilities as a learner, have formed constructive relationships and be confident communicators.
