As part of their 11+ prep, the children had an interview practice day with @blvue_samselby, Education Director at @blvuegroup, yesterday.
The children had individual as well as group interview practice and feedback. They also had a session doing different interview tasks to help them be ...more prepared for their upcoming 11+ exams and interviews.

This week we participated in #oddsocksday to stand up against bullying and discrimination.
At WPS we have a buddy system to ensure children feel valued and supported. We also have break times where the upper school children play with the lower school children to build friendships ...throughout the years and creates a caring ethos in the school.

Each year group was tasked with donating different items and with the help of one of our parents Rachel, who drove all the donations down for us, we went along to the foodbank to... find out how they register all their donations (shopping trolleys are weighed!), how they store and distribute their donations and all about the amazing work that they do.

Half term camp - we had a brilliant first week at holiday camp last week, the theme was aliens and space 👽 🌌
🚀 The children made a rocket out of cardboard boxes, arts and crafts, Lego building, made the most of the dry weather and had sports sessions outside - what a fun filled ...week!

As part of their Blood Heart project, Years 5 and 6 went to @thameschristianschool to perform a heart dissection in the laboratories at the school 🥼 🩸
They opened up the heart using specialist scissors, exposing the atria and ventricles and were able to observe the structure of the ...heart too!
It was a fantastic immersive experience for the children. Thank you to @thameschristianschool and Miss Gomez for the session.

Our wraparound care has a new reading corner, full of books and a comfy carpet to sit on 📚 📕 📖
It’s been wonderful to see the children practicing their reading and the older children reading to the younger ones.
Our wraparound care is free and included in our fees and ...very popular with our parents and children - the children do a variety of activities including Lego, puzzles, colouring, craft and more and it’s a great place for all the children to play together 🧩
