The first summer half-term has been filled with laughter, excitement and enrichment opportunities for all. Special events, school trips, competitions and awards are but a few of the exceptional opportunities our pupils have taken part in over this half term.
This week, we waved goodbye to our Year 5 & 6 classes, as they ventured overseas to France for their Residential Trip, and to our Year 3 & 4 groups, who are creating long-lasting memories at PGL this week.
Back home at Wandsworth Prep, we’ve been preparing for the end of the half-term with brilliantly presented showcases from all the Lower School classes and even had the opportunity to welcome future WPS families to the school for our very own Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
Each half-term, we like to integrate our Seven Core Values into the curriculum. This half-term, our focus has been ‘Be Collaborative’. We have seen our children take on this value with great determination and success, as Year 6 worked together on creating their own unique film for the BFI and our debating team tackling the Bellevue Debating Competition. As always, after such a fun-packed half term full of engaged and active learning, you can see everything we post on the Latest News, Photo Gallery and Instagram.
Every term at Wandsworth Prep is full of thrilling opportunities for pupils and staff to learn in creative ways.
Laura sends her best wishes from France and she hopes everyone has a good half-term.
I would like to also wish you all a very restful half-term break.
Kind regards,
Alastair Hill
